Terms of Service & Refund Policy

These Terms govern your purchase and use of web design services from WebFavor ("we," "us," "our") at webfavordesigns.com. By ordering a package or care plan, or by submitting a project request, you agree to these Terms.
1. What we provide
WebFavor designs and builds websites for local businesses. We offer one-time website builds (Basic, Standard, Premium) and optional monthly care plans (Base, Standard, Premium) for hosting, security, and ongoing updates. Every project begins with a free working demo so you can preview the result before paying.
2. The free demo
The free demo is a no-obligation preview built from the details you provide. It may use sample or placeholder content. There is no charge and no commitment to proceed. We may reuse general design elements from a demo you don't purchase.
3. Pricing & payment
- Prices are shown on our site and charged through Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- One-time builds are billed once. Care plans are billed monthly after a 30-day free trial, plus a one-time setup fee.
- You're responsible for any applicable taxes. Third-party costs you choose to add (e.g., a custom domain, premium stock photos, paid fonts/plugins) are billed separately or paid directly by you.
4. Revisions
- Free demo: a no-obligation preview that shows the direction before you buy — it is not unlimited free custom work.
- Included revision rounds: each build includes a set number of rounds to refine within your package scope until you approve — Basic 1 round, Standard 2 rounds, Premium 3 rounds. Extra rounds can be added for a small fee.
- Post-launch fixes: minor fixes are included free for a window after launch — Basic 7 days, Standard 14 days, Premium 30 days. Beyond that, changes are covered by a care plan or quoted separately.
- Significant scope changes (extra pages, new features, a different concept) may require a package upgrade or additional fee, agreed in advance.
5. Refund policy
One-time builds. You preview a free working demo and approve your site before hand-off, so you always see exactly what you're paying for. Because each build is custom work made specifically for you:
- Once your site is approved and handed off (delivered or launched), the build fee is non-refundable — no refunds are issued after approval and hand-off.
- Before approval and hand-off, if we are unable to deliver a build you approve, you may request a refund of the build fee for work not yet delivered. Such requests must be made within 14 days of payment by emailing webfavordesigns@gmail.com.
Care plans. You can cancel anytime and won't be billed again. We don't refund partial months already started. The one-time setup fee is non-refundable once setup work has begun. The first 30 days are free, so you can try a plan at no cost.
Chargebacks. Please contact us first — we'll always try to make it right. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of services.
6. Timelines
Free demos are typically ready within ~2 days. Full builds usually launch in about 1–3 weeks depending on the package and how quickly you provide content and approvals. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on your responsiveness.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate business information, any content or photos you want used, and timely approvals. You confirm you have the right to use any materials you give us, and that your business and content are lawful.
8. Ownership
Upon full payment for a build, you own the final website files and content we create for you. You're free to host them anywhere — there's no lock-in. Third-party components (fonts, stock images, libraries, Stripe, etc.) remain under their own licenses. We may display your finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
9. Hosting & third-party services
Sites are typically hosted on Netlify, payments run through Stripe, and form messages through Formspree. These are operated by third parties under their own terms. For care plans, we manage hosting on your behalf; without a care plan, accounts and renewals are your responsibility.
10. Care plan terms
Care plans include the services listed for your tier (hosting, security, backups, updates). They renew monthly until cancelled. We may adjust plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Cancellation stops future hosting/maintenance; you remain the owner of your site files.
11. No guarantee of results
We build fast, modern, SEO-ready sites, but we can't guarantee specific business outcomes such as search rankings, traffic, or sales — those depend on many factors outside our control. Services are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebFavor's total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
13. Termination
Either party may end a project or care plan with written notice. Fees for work already completed remain payable. We may suspend services for non-payment or misuse.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
